FEATURING WEST AFRICA’S MINING LEADERS ON 2 – 3 JUNE 2021
On 2 – 3 June, we hosted over 400 professionals from 18 countries for the WAMPEX and WAMPOC Digital Series, in partnership with the Ghana Chamber of Mines.
The series consisted of four 90minute live interviews with ministerial and C-level representation from key mining stakeholders from across the West African region.
The live interview and Q&A format allowed attendees to connect with industry professionals from around the world.

On Wednesday, 2 June, attendees were addresed by Hon. Mireku Diuker, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Lands & Natural Resources in Ghana.
Following the Honourable Minister’s presentation, he was joined by Mr. Eric Asubonteng, President, Ghana Chamber of Mines for a live Q & A session with the audience.
This session was moderated by Mr. Bernardinho Koku Avle, Journalist at Citi FM.

GLOBAL DEVELOPMENTS ON WOMEN IN MINING

On Thursday, 3 June we heard from Mr Sulemanu Koney, CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Mines as he presented on the role of women in the mining sector.
Following Mr Koney’s presentation, he was joined by an inspiring all-female panel of leaders driving transformation in the mining industry in Ghana, namely:
